Wedding planning is such a great job, but when LVL planner Kerri Hatter had the chance to do it for her family, it made it extra special. Last November, just two weeks after Rylan came home from deployment in Afghanistan, they became a family of three so this celebration was solidifying their commitment to their loving family.
Rylan is a cowboy at heart and since they met line dancing, it’s no secret where the cowboy hats, boots and rustic theme came from! Santa Margarita Ranch is no ordinary barn and it was the perfect location for these two. With the help from friends (who also happen to be amazing wedding vendors), we created the perfect day and night. Since almost everyone was in cowboy boots there were no sore feet and no shortage of dancing thanks to Andy Nation leading the crowd (and some of the line dances). Plus after some good old fashion BBQ from Rib Line and pies from Apple Farm, we needed to dance the night away!
Some favorite details were the logs from the family’s cabin that Natural Charms Floral hollowed out to make the head table centerpieces and the adorable mason jar cookie favors (yum!). Much to photographer Christine Bentley‘s delight, these two love birds were willing to drive around the property and take advantage of all the great photo opportunities Santa Margarita Ranch has to offer.
