Coming off a 5 day silent meditative retreat in beautiful Big Sur not only prepared me for the new year but allowed me to reflect on many things in my life including LVL and what it means to me. There is something to be said for forcing yourself to quite the mind and allow for mindful reflection and solitude.
The one feeling that kept popping up in those moments of silence was GRATITUDE. GRATITUDE for the ability to have a career I love and most of the time doesn’t even feel like work (unless I am doing my books). GRATITUDE for my dedicated and passionate team, I am fortunate enough to lead and inspire everyday. GRATITUDE for the couples who trust LVL with the single most important day of their lives. GRATITUDE for all the amazing vendors, partners, close friend and colleagues who without their creativity, passion, inspiration and professionalism we would not be where we are today.
Looking back on 2013 leaves me feeling fired up for what’s to come in the new year. We made some pretty big announcements this past year. We moved into our very own office space (lucky for us our new neighbor is A Wish and a Whisk), we were busy planning 103 weddings & events, were featured in over 25 publications, launched the LVL Wedding Workshop and the highlight for me was our amazing additions to the team, Kerri Hatter, Amy Kutcha, Andrea Guzman and Ashley House.
I am beyond excited for 2014 and couldn’t think of a better way to start it off then to reveal our big announcement which you can enjoy watching on the video below produced by the great Perryfield Films.
