Romantic Floral Tablescape

Jun 14, 2015

I took inspiration from my wedding colors, as my 10 year anniversary was coming up this summer.  The color celadon was revisited with with a pretty, floral linen from La Tavola, as well as gorgeous blooms by Sarah’s Garden to create this Romantic Floral Styled Shoot.

I believe that the design has to come from somewhere personal to really shine. My mom and mother-in-law insisted that I register for china, flatware and crystal for my wedding (10 years ago. Wow things have changed!) The entire set has never left each box; stored away for a future time when I actually have dinner parties. So when our Design Challenge came up, it seemed like the perfect time to finally put it all to use.

To tie in the place settings with the overall design, we used Glamour & Woods’ gorgeous nickel vineyard chairs. Wood accents on the chargers, menu and floating centerpieces balanced out the more formal linens and colorful floral design. Rachel Solomon captured the look perfectly, even capturing the golden hour light as the sun set on 2 coupe glasses of rosé.
