One of my favorite feelings has to be coming past the windmills in route to the desert from Orange County and that immediate feeling of peaceful escape. There is something about the palm trees, the mountains and the evening light after a sunny day that really makes me feel like the desert is the perfect spot for a close but still destination wedding weekend.

Kristina & Jon thought that those palm trees and mountains would make the picture perfect backdrop for their big day and they absolutely did. Kristina and Jon began their beautiful desert day at Miramonte Resort and Spa with an emotional first look captured by Smetona Photo . Kristina & Jon said their I Do’s with friends and family on the lush grounds of Woodhaven Country Club, and danced the night away in the ballroom. We hope you enjoy their images as much as we do!
