Sequins! If anyone knows me well, they know I am a sucker for sparkle! So when it came time to plan my own wedding, I was true to form and wanted our friends and family to leave the wedding thinking that was totally PERFECT for Ashley and Matt. So sparkles, Passed Patron shots, glow sticks, and dance floor sweat towels were the starting point.
I wanted a classic, timeless wedding design but with some updated, modern touches. Instead of a black tie event we considered it a “grey tie affair”. Classy, but fun. I mean, Matt did end up with his shirt off the better portion of the reception once he hit the dance floor.
Being in the industry, I wanted to be surrounded by vendors I knew and trusted. I knew from the moment I woke up that morning, I did not need to worry about anything. The amazing, Josh at Boutique DJ’s was one of the first vendors we booked since we were very adamant on having the perfect DJ. The stunning floral design by Fleurs de France transformed my descriptions and ideas into perfect table arrangements and a soft, romantic ceremony setting. Our winter wedding was everything I imagined and such a great experience to be both the planner and the bride. Looking through these lovely images from Andrew Weeks Photography, it makes me want to do it all over again!!
