We were so excited to see Erin and Constantine’s wedding featured on 100 Layer Cake! This was extra special because it was our first Convict Lake Resort Mammoth wedding. E+C had originally planned to host their wedding in Orange County and after some reflection they decided to change their location to the Convict Lake Resort in Mammoth. Erin grew up fishing on the very lake they were married on with her dad every summer. Their family had so many special memories in Mammoth that in the end there would not be a better place for their wedding venue. This was also the first time I had ever rented a refrigerated truck to transport flowers this far. I was even more nervous because I was not sure how the altitude would effect the flowers so I was checking them every hour. In the end it turned out perfectly flowers and all and was definitely worth the trek up the mountain!
There was so much beauty surrounding us all weekend long. I couldn’t help but feel jealous of the photographers, Troy and Amy Grover because they were able to capture every little detail throughout the weekend including the baby dear running around. The ceremony views were breath taking along with Erin’s sequined dress which I was absolutely obsessed with! Towards the end of the night they made sure to have a s’more station, an appearance by Wooly the Mammoth himself and a sparkler send off. What a more perfect place for this perfect couple! Congrats Erin and Constantine!!!
