I Do {How To's}: Handmade Bridal Accessories

May 31, 2011

We could not wait to share with you all the pretty! We were lucky enough to meet Rachel Crawford, designer of Rachel Larraine at an Exquisite Magazine event and immediately fell in love with her handmade products. Her gorgeous accessories have been featured in San Diego Weddings Style, Exquisite Weddings Magazine and on the Bride Suite.

We LOVE the variety of fascinators, headbands and hair accessories! And the sashes… to die for! Such a gorgeous and creative way to add your style and personalize your wedding dress. The best part is all of these items can be customized to fit your colors, theme and style. They make great gifts for bridesmaids too.

What makes Rachel Larraine accessories special?

My materials and attention to detail make my pieces so special. I use a lot of vintage broaches and jewelry in the pieces to make them one of a kind and special.  Which means I spend many many hours just searching for the perfect pieces. I also hand select every material from the feathers to the fabrics, I’m very picky with what I will use in each piece. I refuse to settle on my selection. I hand craft each one stitch by stitch, sometimes pricking my own fingers. I take my time with each piece, no factory here and work closely with my clients to make sure we get the piece just right.
