An awesome couple from Denver, Colorado contacted us to plan their dream ceremony. They wanted their toes in the sand on the beach in Santa Monica just a short walk from their reception venue, Viceroy Santa Monica.

Santa Monica State Beach is run and operated by the city. There is no permit required to have a beach ceremony, just a few rules. (See link for list of rules and regulations) With no permit required it is first come, first serve. To avoid any issues we arrived at the beach two and a half hours before our bride and groom’s ceremony to stake out their perfect spot. We set up the four post altar, chairs for the 50 guests and smoothed out the sand and voila!!! Toes in the sand accomplished.

The gorgeous flowers were created by Debbie at Flowers Etc Weddings. Rentals by Signature Party Rentals, Orange County. Rev. Clint Huft married the happy couple & Vox DJs supplied the music & sound.
