When Nick and Annie first contacted Ashley, they gave her the criteria of good food, winery venue in Napa with a unique twist, and a laid back, whimsical, yet refined style. Annie and Nick currently reside in New York City, so being this would be a destination wedding for their guests it was important to them that the experience felt like they were on amazing wine country weekend vacation. Keeping with the wild, organic desire for the design, the ceremony arbor and aisle treatments were whimsical and natural to compliment the surrounding nature. A beautiful bounty of cheese and charcuterie awaited their guests for cocktail hour paired with the delicious Russian River valley wines that Chalk Hill offers. Moving to the dinner reception, the guests were seated amongst wooden dining cabanas with sprawling colorful floral and candles. The velvet textures of linen, wood dining tables, and vintage glassware kept the design eclectic and fun.
